The Caterpillars curriculum is designed for our youngest learners, from 6 weeks to 1 year old. At this tender age, children are rapidly developing physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Our program is designed to support and nurture these foundational aspects of development in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment. Our caregivers are trained to provide individualized care and attention to each child, recognizing and responding to their unique needs and rhythms.

Sensory Exploration:

At this age, children are absorbing the world around them through their senses. Our curriculum includes a variety of sensory activities that stimulate sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. From feeling different textures to listening to gentle music, sensory exploration is a crucial part of the Caterpillars curriculum.

Physical Development:

We focus on activities that support the physical development of our little ones. This includes tummy time, grasping toys, and activities that support the development of gross and fine motor skills.

Social-Emotional Development:

Even at this early age, children are beginning to develop social and emotional skills. Our curriculum includes activities that promote bonding, secure attachment, and a sense of safety and comfort. This includes one-on-one interaction with caregivers, as well as group activities that foster a sense of community.

Language Development:

Language development is crucial at this age. Our curriculum includes activities that promote listening skills, vocalization, and early language development. This includes talking to the children, singing songs, and reading simple picture books.

Cognitive Development:

Our activities also support the cognitive development of the children. This includes simple problem-solving activities, object permanence games, and activities that promote curiosity and exploration.
