At ISLC, we pride ourselves on a journey that began over two decades ago, rooted in a dream to offer nothing but the best for our children and families. Established in September 2000, our founder embarked on a mission, inspired by a background in education and a lifelong aspiration to create a childcare center that stands out from the rest.
From the Beginning
The journey was personal and involved the support and contributions of family. Our founder’s parents played a pivotal role in the building process, making ISLC a true labor of love. Initially, the dream was to transform an old house in Sparks into a lively, engaging, and secure environment for children and a sanctuary for families. However, as with any great vision, adaptability was key.
Evolving Dreams
While the original vision involved modifying an existing structure, it evolved with the construction of our very own building. Our founder was intricately involved in every step of the design process, meticulously crafting the floor plan to cater to the specific needs of our young learners while distinguishing between a ‘daycare’ and a ‘preschool.’
